Terrible Two's

Mom's Night Out
This is not your Mom’s Night Out with BINGO and hot chocolate. This is going to be 4 friends that have 8 kids between them. We are going to the casino for dinner, gambling, drinks, and dancing. None of us have done this before and here are the things we have discussed:

There is so much snow outside and I’m not wishing it away. It’s been a long time since we’ve had this much snow and there are the down sides:
My dog has no where to poop
Kids can’t play in it - too deep
Can’t see traffic with the snow banks so high
Half the amount of parking spots in any given lot
But it’s New England and I love it.

It's Official...
Having 2 boys, I have considered trying again for a girl. But today, I have met the THIRD person who had attempted this and ended up with twin boys for a grand total of 4 boys. Seriously, I think that’s a lot and a sign from God. I AM DONE!
Today I told my boss that I hated my job and wanted to quit and become a bounty hunter. This way, it would be somewhat legal for to physically chase people down and threaten them, which is what I’d rather do than play all this nicey-nice political game.

My husband has a female friend. She is a police officer in my town and she has made it clear her she doesn’t want to be my friend.
I like to make jokes at her expense. He thinks I’m not giving her a chance and she’s a nice girl. I just keep telling my husband - wait for the crazy…it will come.
Negotiations
No meltdowns from the 2 year old about getting in the car to bring my 4 year to preschool today. The cost? He had to wear one SpiderMan slipper and one Toy Story slipper (2 sizes too big).

Seriously. I needed to run to the store to pick up something for dinner, but the very thought of boots (it’s like wrestling an alligator), jackets, hats, and gloves (x2) and then getting home, and having mud/sand tracked into the house and taking all that stuff back off made us have PB&J…again. I miss the simplicity of summer!
Working from home...
I am back to back on calls till 12:30 (12:00 last minute urgent call with my boss about something I’m not completely prepared to discuss) then back on the phones for 2 more conversations. When am I suppose to get work done if my calendar is so full of meetings?
My 10:00 has not yet called me and it’s 10:10. I should be happy I have this extra time, but I’m pretty annoyed that...

Bad Parent Alert
Something has to give. My 2 year old is cute as anything and 95% of the time has the sweetest, most easy going personality and I question what I did to deserve it. Loooooong Day.
Started at 12:30 am when Dylan (after an hour of tossing and turning and talking in my bed - I had not yet slept more than 10 minutes at this point) started throwing up all over the bed - no warnings.

I was just invited to a baby shower of someone I do not know. Here is what I do know:

A couple of years ago, I saw Mystery Diagnosis where a woman found out she had a brain tumor because her eye reflected white in pictures. For some reason, that stuck with me. I recently noticed that in the last 2 months, a significant number of photos of my son had white reflections in his left eye.
I tried to Google it, and could only find articles on eye cancer. Talk about fear - I freaked...

Ringing in the New Year with a Bang - with Bangs!
Went to my hairdresser - wanted a change without cutting all my hair off, so she did a select portion of it. A few inches off the length, cut out some blonde with low-lites, and added bangs. I’m like a new person - for the next 2 4 days (I push it with salon hair - it’s an automatic -2 hair days in my book) until I wash it and freak out when I can’t make it look as good!
